Thanks to its low thermal conductivity (λ = 0.021 W/m·K), HeatFlex offers excellent insulation performance. For projects with particularly high energy efficiency requirements, an alternative insulation series with further improved thermal properties is available.

HeatFlex is available as a single or twin-pipe system, with dimensions up to DN125, and is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 6 bar at 80°C (temporarily up to 95°C). Its service life is dimensioned according to EN 15632-2, ensuring at least 30 years of operation under normal load conditions.

The corrugated PE-LLD outer casing provides high flexibility and mechanical durability. HeatFlex is an excellent choice for both new constructions and renovation projects where the combination of performance and ease of installation is essential.

The PE-Xa media pipes (SDR11 and SDR7.4) are connected using press fittings or compression fittings, such as weld and threaded adapters, couplings, bends, and T-pieces.

Press fittings require a pressing tool, which can be ordered from RK Infra. Compression fittings, on the other hand, can be installed without special tools—the force is applied via an external sleeve system where a clamping screw is tightened with a standard Allen key. This ensures a quick and reliable connection, even in the field.

FibreFlex & FibreFlex Pro

The press fittings for the FibreFlex systems feature an additional polymer sleeve that enhances the seal and allows for direct installation without the need to expand the pipe ends. For dimensions up to 110 mm, standard PE-Xa tools (SDR11) are used, while for larger dimensions, RK Infra provides specially adapted pressing tools.

The connection points are insulated with dedicated joint insulation systems, providing complete protection against heat loss and moisture infiltration.

Prefabricated components & half-shells

To minimize welding and on-site assembly, RK Infra offers a wide selection of prefabricated, pre-insulated steel components. The press transitions are welded directly onto the steel parts and can then be connected using pressing tools.

All flexible piping systems can also be complemented with half-shells in a click system, designed for easy and quick insulation of joints and connections without the need for glue, screws, or shrinking. The system ensures high installation quality and optimal insulation performance.
